Beetroot Salad

The colors of this beetroot salad are vibrant, but the salad itself is simple, easy to make, and loaded with flavor. It has the perfect balance of sweet and sour and that is what leaves an impression on your palate. A must try and a complement to any entree. Enjoy!



3 beets

2 big garlic cloves

1 tsp Himalayan seas salt

2 tbs honey

1/4 cup vinegar

2 tbs EVOO


1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes



  1. Wash the beets very well
  2. Cut off the ends
  3. Cut them super thin with a mandoline
  4. Grate garlic
  5. Chop cilantro
  6. Combine with thinly cut beets set a side and make the vinaigrette
  7. Add vinaigrette to the beets and toss it well and be sure to coat every piece
  8. Refrigerate for couple hours or overnight


Mix garlic, honey, EVOO, and vinegar.
